Recently surfaced recording from the master taper: Jason Willis.

Jason was kind enough to unearth his master recording and put up MP3's up on the web a while back, but he was even MORE kind to send me a lossless copy after my incessant groveling...

Here is the recently unearthed 10/31/84 show, and NEVER unearthed LOSSLESS version!.

A splendid performance and set here. This long set (for the time) includes one of the earliest performances of 'Mark Says Alright' and a very early (and surprisingly cohesive) Psychedelic Jam. The aborted 'Hey' seems to be because of some technical difficulties, but they play it again and get through it...

This has become my favorite document from their first U.S. tour. The sound is great (A-) and the band is having a ball...as was the crowd, it seems.

Of course, if you'd like more info on this and every other known Butthole Surfers performance and recording, please see here:

Enjoy!
