| Note | This one's actually pretty funny. For most of the show, it's obvious the crowd isn't into the band at all, and most of Axl's banter is met with silence. And, when he offers to mic to audience members during the sing-along portion of Knockin', they openly mock him on the mic. One guy even uses his part to announce, "Guns N' Roses fucking sucks." As for the recording, this is a very nice audience dub, and maybe I'm being unfair by not giving it a B+. There is a slight analog presence, and a couple of volume fluctuations throughout, but the bulk of the show is rock solid. There's also a quick gap before Paradise City, which is probably just from a tape flip. All in all, this is a really nice document of the Guns' early days. |
