For some reason most punx I ever met never heard of the MAU MAUs. Heck if I know why. They did a live lp and at the beginning of the gig they're setting up and some movie orchestral song is slowly building and building till it creschendos and that's the exact moment the band kicks into a high velocity first song. Brilliant. They belong right along side the best DISCHARGE & GBH. Till 1985 when they and DISCHRAGE both went south, ugh. |
