| Comment | part of the Intimate and Interactive series of shows the Oils did in Australia. Peoples names were drawn and they got to come sit on a couch on stage with the band and some song requests were taken, this usually meant that the show spawned some rare songs and this one is no exception.
3 Red Sails songs were played is the biggest highlight for myself. Many rarities - Minutes to Midnight, Helps Me Helps You, Land, and Burnie rarely get played with 'Burnie' and 'Helps Me' being extremely rare. Tin Legs made a resurfacing as they did more acoustic sets in shows in later years but had been on a virtual 10 year hiatus from setlists. Add the unique song arrangements used with guests Chris Abrahams and Charlie McMahon and you have a rare Oils show. |
