Hurt Notes on the show: IMO this is a great-sounding and great-looking show. As mentioned above, there were at least two video sources used here, so there's a pretty good mix of closeups and distance shots. Trent didn't say much during the show apart from thanking the crowd and saying something about being in his home state. A few pixel blocks are missing on the middle jumbotron. As mentioned, I don't have any lineage information on it. I got the DVD in a snailmail trade with just the date. What's here is the filesystem as it appeared on the DVD (plus this new info file). Any other info would be appreciated. There's a couple of technical glitches in the show which I'll list here: Towards the end of The Wretched, one camera seemed to go out for awhile (security, maybe?) and there were no more closeups until later in La Mer (at which time the more interesting stuff was the distance shots, anyway). Midway through Gave Up, the visuals disappear entirely for a little while and then come back once the jumbotrons to go down. Suck cuts out briefly with some kind of "Videonics MX-1 Digital Video Mixer" logo, which is a bit startling, so when you get there don't think that it's something wrong with the DVD image itself. The audio recovers a number of seconds after the video does. AS ALWAYS, don't sell this, or put it up on eBay, etc. It's been scientifically proven by humorless men wearing white lab coats that doing so leads, invariably, to prolonged bouts of severe acne, and in some extreme cases, scurvy. |
