| Note | All three of these soundboards are flat sounding, which is common. In addition, Shawn Lane's distorted guitar sounds sometimes suffer from the dreaded "swarm of bees" buzz. The up side of soundboards is that you have no screamers. The downside is that you lose dynamics, ambience, and the real tone of the miced instruments. So, imo, they are hard to rate. Take my "A" with a grain of salt--depending on what you like. |
