In the Wikipedia, Kyu is described as a "punk-noise-ambient-bondage duo". Yummy!! Kyu consists of eX-girl frontwoman Kirilola and the exceptional koto player Michiyo Yagi. AFAIK the duo no longer exists, and I believe this is their 2nd (and last) gig. According to the taper they haven?t played since this show. A very original mix of electronics and koto. Ranges from noisy improv to beautiful ballads to ambient soundscapes - sometimes with a medieval flavour.
