Note | A magical evening with The Slip playing their first acoustic performance since
1997 and I think only their second one ever. This is a collection of all the songs that did not make it on the Aliveacoustic release. This is merely the audience mics. The album was mixed in a studio from the multitrack recordings I made that night. So if your hearing this and you do not yet own Aliveacoustic, do not pass go, do not collect $200, and do go to The Slip's website to order the epic acoustic live album. Bear in mind these are the tracks that did NOT make the album. The ones that did are truly on another level. That is saying a whole lot since this out-take collection is amazing in it's own right. Tracks 3,5,7 don't have titles that I know of. Track 3 was dubbed Kurdistan by fans when it debuted but I'm pretty sure that was never official. The tune has since dissapeared. Track 7 sounds like that band Ned's Atomic Dustbin. I can't be sure without asking. It was Mothers Day if I recall correctly. There is some mild wind from the ceiling fan but I think it's pretty easy to get over. |
