| Tech Note | Unlike the partial setlist here, my version is the complete show. Complete setlist: The Rising, Lonesome Day, Prove It All Night, Darkness on the Edge of Town, Empty Sky, You're Missing, Waitin' on a Sunny Day, The Promised Land, Worlds Apart, Badlands, She's the One, Mary's Place, Dancing in the Dark, Countin' on a Miracle, Spirit in the Night, Incident on 57th Street, Into the Fire, Night, Ramrod, Born to Run, My City of Ruins, Born in the USA, Land of Hope and Dreams, Thunder Road Audio taken from the Live in Barcelona DVD, not officially available on CD. While an official release of sorts, I'm not terribly impressed with the sound. Way too much crowd noise for starters, but the actual music sounds hollow and muddy to me. It might be a subpar recording, or it might be that I'm not terribly impressed by the sound of the latter day Bruce/E Street Band. The Hammersmith Odeon 1975 release, for instance, has much better sound in spite of being an older recording (and it's a much better performance). If you like later Bruce, this is probably a good show to have... Just don't expect to be blown away by the sound quality. "A-" since it's at least a SBD and has no flaws. |
