Comments
SET 1 is acoustic Dead, the complete set. David Grisman plays mandolin on Friend Of The Devil, David Nelson joins with another mandolin on Big Railroad Blues; both continue through Ripple. There is a hint of harmonica on Dark Hollow, presumably Pigpen's. The instrumentation on To Lay Me Down is hard to figure but the electric guitar is probably Bobby and Jim Wise may be right that the piano is Jerry on this tune. The piano on Truckin' is Pigpen, however. Nelson & Grisman return on mandolin for Rosalie McFall. Jerry switches to electric guitar for Cumberland and New Speedway, then back to acoustic for Brokedown Palace. Pigpen plays piano again on this tune.

SET 2 is the only NRPS tune from this show to make it into circulation so far.

SET 3 is an electric Dead set. There was also a NRPS set between the acoustic and electric Dead sets but tape hasn't surfaced.
Candyman cuts in at "Good morning Mr. Benson."
The #3:31 of tape from the conclusion of Good Lovin' (between Sittin' On Top Of The World and Big Boy Pete) turns out to be the last 3:31 of the 9/18/70 Good Lovin'.
During the Jam out of Not Fade Away Jerry feints at Goin' Down The Road and Mountain Jam but settles into neither before transiting into the Bid You Goodnight Jam.
