Note | THE OWEN BROTHERS VAULT
The Grateful Dead - 08NOV1970 Capitol Theater - Port Chester, NY (AUD:Various sources ) Editing and Mastering by The Wizard - Owenbrothersvault@hotmail.com This does not exist in the vault so this is the best that's out there... This was drawn from at least three audience sources, Primarily Ken Lee's (MC>C>D>CD) and Marty Weinberg's (MR>C>D>CD). Some of these sources have been mixed up a bit over the years so I am not too worried about where each minute came from, I just tried to pick the best sounding parts and make them a little better... Acoustic Set - Primarily Lee's with patches NRPS Set - Weinberg's - No patch source available. First Electric Disc - Weinberg's with patches. Second Electric Disc - Through Dancin' is Weinberg, rest Lee with patches (The second half of Weinberg had bad bass saturation...) This show required a good bit of work. All sources needed a Continuous Noise filter to take the edge off the hiss. Each source was individually equalized to bring out the best in them. Gain adjustments were made to bring everything in balance and about 200-300 loud handclaps were removed from various parts. A lot of miscellaneous pops and gliches were cleaned up. All patches were matched as best I could to the rest of the songs sonic qualities. All editing done with Diamond Cut DC5 software. Disc One - Acoustic Set - 56:57 01) Dire Wolf 02) I Know You Rider 03) Tune Up 04) Dark Hollow 05) Godzilla... 06) Rosalie McFall 07) Tune Up 08) El Paso 09) Tune Up 10) Operator (Final time played) 11) Tune Up 12) Ripple 13) Tune Up 14) Friend Of The Devil 15) Tune Up 16) Wake Up, Little Suzie (Final time played) 17) Tune Up 18) Uncle John's Band Disc Two - NRPS - 56:36 (Cuts between all songs - Most song starts clipped) 01) Six Days On The Road 02) Superman 03) Whatcha Gonna Do 04) Glendale Train 05) All I Ever Wanted 06) Fair Chance To Know 07) Portland Woman 08) Cecilia 09)Truck Drivin' Man 10) Last Lonely Eagle 11) Louisiana Lady 12) Honky Tonk Women Disc Three - Electric Dead - 51:29 01) Morning Dew 02) Me And My Uncle 03) Mystery Train (Only time played) 04) >My Babe (Only time played) 05) Around And Around (First time played) 06) New Orleans 07)>Searchin' 08)>It's All Over Now, Baby Blue 09) Casey Jones Disc Four - Electric Dead - 75:29 01) Truckin' 02)>Dark Star (First verse only) 03)>The Main Ten (Final time played) 04)>Dancin' Jam 05)>Dancin' In The Streets 06) Drums 07)>Not Fade Away 08)>Goin' Down The Road Feelin' Bad 09)>Not Fade Away 10)>Drums 11)>Good Lovin' 12)>Drums 13)>Good Lovin' |
