| Comment | Till now only one demo had surfaced from 1995 and it included 4 tracks: Borellus, Serpent Ride, The Heartless and Wicked Game. All of you should have noticed that the quality of Wicked Game was much better compared to the rest of the tracks. That happened because it wasn't the actual demo version but a different studio version that is included in "666 Ways To Love: Prologue" EP.
In Synnin Viem??, HIM's book in Finnish, it is clearly stated that HIM have recorded two demos in 1995. The second demo that included 3 tracks: Stigmata Diaboli, Wicked Game and The Phantom Gate was unsurfaced till now. Hopefully, miracles happen! This new bootleg includes BOTH, REAL 1995 demos and it's highlight is the never heard before song called The Phantom Gate. It looks like this song is an "ancestor" to Your Sweet 666 cause it's lyrics are mostly the same. Stigmata Diaboli and Wicked Game are different, too! They feature Ville's "deepest" voice and the performance is very raw campared to the first 1995 demos. Demo 1 was recorded around 1995 in Lepakko, Finland and features Ville in drums & vocals and Linde in guitars & bass. Demo 2 was recorded in summer 1995 in Tapanila, Finland and features Ville in vocals, Linde in guitars, Mige in Bass and P?tk? in drums. Wicked Game is originally by Chris Isaak |
