Comment | % with Lee Jaffe on harmonica
# Bob Marley cover Santa Cruz's The Expendables opened the evening with about an hour-long set. Barrington and the Detour Posse took the stage and gave the sold-out Catalyst crowd a fabulous show. Bob Marley friend and fellow Wailer Lee Jaffe came out to play harmonica during Rebel Music. After Living Dangerously, MC Rocky Bailey came out to close the evening, but I don't think Barrington and Co. were done yet. You can hear a band member with the wireless mic backstage ask, "Do you want more?" Rocky just kept talking and probably didn't realize they would have come back out for a few more songs. I've never seen him deny a band an encore unless time was an issue. In this case, it was still early so all I can think is he didn't hear them. Either way, the show was great and he played most of my favorites. |
