Comments: Pretty good recording from the acoustically challenged Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. For those unfamiliar with this era, Byrne's first solo album was a heavily salsa-influenced album of pop songs that kind of grew out of the influence heard on "True Stories"; Rei Momo wasn't as "poppy" as his second album, but still some memorable tracks. The band supporting him was a large Latin band, if I remember correctly, with a horn section and 2-3 female backing singers.
