Mother Love Bone 1988-04-?? "Mix Tape" Reciprocal & Lawson Studio Sessions, Seattle, WA | |
---|---|
Set 1 | Stardog Champion Halfass Monkeyboy Stargazer Capricorn Sister Chloe Dancer |
Set 2 | |
Set 3 | |
Comment | Chloe Dancer is only the intro/piano part of the song. It does not include the complete band. Also, at the end of the song, Andrew spews something along the lines of "Boogey, boogey, boogey little momma - MMMM Dukakis. The Dukakis reference probably dates this tape around 1988 since that is when Dukakis was running agains Bush Sr. for president. Also, according to some fans , 1/2 Ass Monkey Boy and Capricorn Sister are from the April 1988 sessions with Jack Endino at Reciprocal. Reciprocal is an 8 track studio. I've gotten conflicting info regarding whether CS was recorded at Reciprocal in April, but this would tend to imply it was. By process of elimination, the remaining tracks are from June 1988 at Lawson studios. They are definitely not previously surfaced, at least in mass consumption form. The stars are differntiating which tracks are Lawson and which are reciprocal. This jives with info from the Goldmine article that mentioend mix tapes the bands put out while hunting for a deal. |
