Bonus Track - Taylor John from Late Night with Conan O'Brien (May 17, 2002) One of my earliest recordings of Kelly Joe, taped from dead center middle of the auditorium. Apparently, this show was being broadcast on a local NYC radio station (hence KJP's comments as he silently plugged in, rearranged his chair, and realized that the folks out there in radioland couldn't hear any music). A fine, early performance of Lass of Loch Royale, as well as a blistering Pastures of Plenty. No EQ was done to this recording, however, as the sound was a bit on the quiet side, I boosted the volume 150% using Gold Wave. I stayed up late to tape the performance on late night with Conan, done directly from the TV to the Phillips stand alone CD recorder. Well worth it, as this is the only time I've seen and heard Taylor John played on the lap slide. enjoy! zackman |
