NoteNewport Folk Festivals '64-'65, a must for any Dylan fan.
Source InfoSBD
Tech NoteTrack 1 w/ Joan Baez, track 7 from an afternoon workshop (the day before Bobby went "electric" and all hell broke loose). The sound varies throughout, which is no surprise considering all of the different sources, but these historic recordings sound great. There are few minor "blips" during "Rolling Stone" which sound like tape flaws, but the rest of the infamous Newport set sounds perfect, and is a must-have for any Dylan fan. The sound levels on the two Hollywood Bowl tracks are really low, but they sound alright too. I'm not sure why this collection jumps around from Newport to different locations and back again, considering the importance of these performances, it's just great that we have them avaialble to us.
