Note | "Dark Side Of Radio City". On same disc as 09/07/68. Has two uncredited filler tracks (One Of These Days + Saucerful Of Secrets) at the end of disc two. I have an original silver of this show, and it's sad how no one else crediting "Dark Side Of Radio City" as their copy saw fit to point out the several flaws present on all circulating copies of that silver. Firstly, there are cuts after each song in Set 1. Echoes has a piece carefully edited out of it (no click or gap, but if you know the song, you'll notice about 4 minutes are missing). Us And Them also has about 2 minutes edited out of it (again, no click or gap, but it's a glaring absence). Also, another piece of Us And Them cuts abruptly, then there is a two-second gap, and the song resumes on the next track. Furthermore, there is some strange panning that occurs throughout the show, and sometimes the left channel drops out so dramatically, the recording sounds mono. "DSORC" is one of the most lovingly crafted boots I've come across in terms of artwork and design, but these flaws on the recording are definately distracting. Of course, it's a wonderful show, and a great listen, if only to hear this work-in-progress run-through of Dark Side Of The Moon. The audience recording, however, is a bit muddy at times. The filler tracks actually sound better than the show. Well worth hearing, but these flaws are a reality, and shame on some other users for not mentioning them.
