Tech Note | I had downloaded this earlier (thanks to whomever uploaded it), but I thought it needed some tweaking, so I removed the gaps of silence found before and after nearly every song, 2 seconds of silence before the song start is just too much. I also did some noise reduction (using Goldwave 4.26) on some of the early studio songs like Under Your Spell, There it Goes, Jesus is the Sun, Translucent as well as a few others to take out that annoying background hiss. I also maximized each track, so the WAV files are as loud as they can be without compressing or distorting the originals. I pretty much left the live shows alone in terms of noise reduction I think the results are worth it. |
