Message To Love notes: - EQ'd version of Disc 1 of the 2CD set JPIO 033-034 "He Was A Friend Of Ours - Remastered". - Quote from the Release notes: "[I've given the recording ...] A little treble boost, toned down the bass a little, and turned the volume up on the whole thing (normalized all at once), and Pitch corrected it to my ears. There are subtle improvements too, like the taming down of that sudden loud part in "Hey Joe" for example. Or Jimi talking a little louder than natural in between songs." - Previously circulated versions of this tape are 1) ATM 220 "Royal Albert Hall Rehearsals" (Straight transfer of the Original incomplete Higher Gen tape), 2) JPIO 032 / JPIO Tree 004 "He Was A Friend Of Ours" (Slightly Digitally Restored version of the Original incomplete Higher Gen tape), 3) FTO 004 "Royal Albert Hall Rehearsals - Composite" (Composite of the Original incomplete Higher Gen tape and the Old source), 4) ATM 227-228 "Experience - Coming soon to a Theatre near you!"
