Sound is subjective. The processing of this recording represents some loss of audio information, even though the show sounds better than ever. Also, don't expect a level of quality comparable to the king of Disco Volante-tour soundboard recordings, the New Orleans show from December 2nd 1995. You will hear some artifacts due to noise reduction, especially in the very low level parts of the show. The louder songs sound a lot better, but there is light distortion from the original tape here and there. Also, slight tape fluctuation issues. If you're a lossless purist, stay away. If you're a music fan, get this. The performance is fantastic! |
