NoteThe music sounds like a cross between Gong (Steve Hillage admits ART as an influence), Neu and Tangerine Dream. The result is a crude psychedelic headache which probably was amazing to experience on MDMA or acid in 1971, but by contemporary standards just sounds like so much amateurish avant-gardism masking drug-fueled incompetence. In context with the rest of the "Kraut-Rock" scene, it is certainly listenable and fascinating and it fits well beside Neu, early Tangerine Dream, Can, Amon Duul 2 and early Kraan. Any contemporary comparisons, however, just render the whole thing an embarassing precocious mess. Not to deter the ambitious listener, for there are strong passages of ambient and trance-like brilliance to be heard that are worth the price of admission.
