Note"Songs of Experience" from the Meltdown Festival -- a night of nothing but Hendrix covers (or "interpretations" to be more precise)....Patti's "friends" include Fred Frith & Chris Cutler; Sek Loso; Kimmo Pobjonen & Sami Kuoppamaki; Yat-Kha; the Balenescu Quartet; Robert Wyatt; Joanna Newson; James Blood Ulmer's Odyssey; Squarepusher; Johnny Marr and Robyn Hitchcock; Richard Lloyd, Tom Verlaine, JD Daugherty & Tony Shanahan; Flea; and Jeff Beck and his band -- sound quality is only so-so; the vocals are extremely distant and the sound levels are all over the place but still very listenable
