Tech Note | AUDIO: Panasonic m50 (Master VHS) > capture unit > firewire > uncompressed AVI (captured in Adobe Premiere Pro) > WAV (PCM48kHz exported in Adobe Premiere Pro) > FLAC level 5 (FLAC frontend)
VIDEO: Panasonic m50 (Master VHS) > capture unit > firewire > uncompressed AVI (captured in Adobe Premiere Pro) > DVD+R(M) (paired with audio exported from Adobe Premiere Pro, chapters, menus and authored in Adobe Encore)
I transferred this to DVD and FLAC direct from the master VHS (yes, the taper's camera records straight to VHS). As you can see I dealt with the audio and video seperately and combined them when authoring the DVD+R. Then I converted the original WAV files taken from the master VHS (not ripped from DVD+R) to FLAC. |
