NoteSound Notes:
-It sounds like the original tape was left alone for a long time before being converted to digital format. There are some instances of a sound like tape damage, most notably d1t01 6:00-6:24, d1t04 7:24-end, and d2t05 0:00-0:02.
-d1t01: From 8:30-8:40 there is a little static.
-d2t03: slight static from 1:40-1:50
-d2t06: tape flip(?) at 8:17

Notes from www.knopfler.net:
Rare audience recording from Leicester 1982. This is John Illsley's hometown so special for that reason. Also the sound quality is really excellent after remastering. Includes the rarely performed It Never Rains. Nice version of Portobello Belle. This was early in the tour so there was no sax player. Mel Collins joined the band a couple of days later in London. So Tommy Mandel plays the sax solo on Two Young Lovers on his keyboard. There's a funny moment in Sultans of Swing where MK changes the lyrics and sings: "Check out guitar Hal, now he's my pal".
