| Tech Note | Transfer Info: I transferred my cassette using a Sony TC-WR665S for cassette playback and an Aiwa XC-RW700 stand alone burner for recording. I then eac'ed the resulting CDR to my hard drive. Notes: The tape I transferred isn't that great. Sounds like there are many analog generations. Also, the pitch on my cassette is way off and needed adjustment. I tried my best to correct it by using the tape deck?s pitch adjuster. I also used Soundforge's graphic equalizer to try and minimize the egregious amount of tape hiss. Hopefully a better sounding source will surface. Tracks split using Soundforge 6.0. Shntool used to verify sector boundaries. Encoded using FLAC frontend version 1.7.1 Etree version. bla blazo - 02 October 2004 |
