| J-Card Comment | So here is a Clapton show that is one of my favs. Back in 1987, Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy played in a small club in London as part of a film that was being made. It's really just two bluesmen cutting heads. There are some standards, and some jams, but really it's just incredible to hear these guys go at it. There are long pauses between some tunes as, I imagine, the directors are figuring out shots, etc. In the final production, Buddy's guitar is buried in the mix. I have the honor of knowing the taper and on a trip to England some time ago, I copied his cassette master to DAT. Here, then, is the show in it's entirety, without cuts, except tape flips. I've not broken it into CD's...I'm a DAT guy. So break it where you want, but when trading, please keep it complete and uncompressed. Long listed in trading circles as a soundboard, this is a stunning audience tape of an absolutely incendiary show. Best enjoyed with headphones and single malt scotch. Those that know and have traded with me know that I have an extensive Clapton collection on DAT. I've been transferring those to my Mac for archiving. As I do, I'll post torrents.
