Comment | RTBase has this show as The Ritz in New York City and as the following: (July 1, 1990 - Lakefront Festival, The Navy Pier Ballroom, Chicago IL)(FM broadcast, WBEZ - probably broadcast date); before Psyco Street, RT refers to being in "Chicago".
The set list corresponds with the bootleg Live At The Navy Pier. I'd guess this is bootlegged from the FM broadcast from Chicago, one date between 23rd and 27th June inc., as the first show of the new solo tour. This show is clearly the first Lakefront Festival of Music & Fun held at the Navy Pier Chicago 1990 (the stage announcer says so at least twice). It is also certainly 1 July 1990 because RT announces the score of the England vs Cameroon World Cup Soccer Quarter Final game played that evening in Napoli Italy that finished around 6.30pm Eastern Time. The New York show in the RTBase is therefore mis-attributed. |
