| Comment | Its a great acoustic set pre-Rumour and Sigh, with plenty of not-oft-heard and unreleased tunes. Mrs. Rita and his version of Andy Irvine's As I Roved Out (Planxty did arrange a version on an album, but it's actually a traditional song) are particularly nice. Any help w/ the tune - he identifies it as "like Banish Misfortune" but its definitely a different tune.
There seem to be two versions of this show in circulation. The one taken from the WNYC FM broadcast is continuous up to and including Al Bowlly, then cuts to and finishes with Valerie. |
