Electric Lounge notes:

Levels are adjusted during Mojo Pin when I realize my initial level setting is too low. There are PA problems starting near the end of Lilac Wine. Eventually the PA goes out completely so the band turn the stage monitors towards the audience after the Reggae Improv. The PA comes back near the middle of Hallelujah.

Waterloo notes:

Mic attenuator is turned off near the start of So Real - this accounts for the jump in volume. Don't turn it up until after this point! There were at least 2 video cameras rolling in the audience for this - I have never seen either video. Performance took place around 2 in the afternoon.

There are photos of both shows (including one of me in line to get my CD signed after the Waterloo in-store - with my gear still with me!) available in the excellent book "Wished for Song: A Portrait of Jeff Buckley" by Merri Cyr.

No remastering was done do this recording. Track numbers were created manually through the HHB CDR-850 CD recorder so they may not be perfect.

CommentAfter "So Real", the vocal mic stops working, so Jeff and the band goof around trying to start "Grace". Jeff plays some Black Sabbath-style riffs to test his guitar, which is working fine, but the vocals are hardly coming through, you can just make out the
death metal screams of "nothing on tour works!". An audience member shouts for an instrumental so they play a nifty little Ska number. The solo songs are sung at very quiet volume, maybe to do
with the vocal mic problems at the venue?
