Tech NoteMTX and DTS notes Sources: ____________________________________________________________________ SBD SBD > MC > DAT > CDR > FLAC EAC'd and converted on 9/17/2001 by Randy Griesman(randyg@ameritech.net) ____________________________________________________________________ AUD Recorded by the Oade Brothers Transferred by Doug Oade, traced by Darrin Sacks (dsacks@pcisys.net) Field: Schoeps CMC441s (90deg, 17cm) > Oade M118 > Oade mod SONY PCM-F1 Transfer: Master PCM > DAW (via SEKD Prodif) > Wav > cdwav > Flac ____________________________________________________________________ MTX & DTS: Source data synched using SoundForge 7.0 and Adobe Audition 1.5. Tracks created using CD Wave. SBD volume boosted 24% (source files - from Tol - were quite low). Various corrections to SBD were made - the source files were chopped up and were missing data between songs and in some cases briefly during songs. You can get to know a show pretty well doing this.... There was some speed correction done as well. SBD had some minor speed changes (both up and down) at various points. These were corrected to the AUD standard. Where needed, AUD data filled the gaps. The only majors gap occur at 24:27.692 of Set 2 during LL Rain (Aud data fills this gap for 36.775 seconds) and at 9:072 of China Cat (Aud data fills this gap for 5.837 seconds). I have opted not to list the editin minutia - it would be a book. DTS: DTS-Audio-CD 5.1 Mix created using SurCode CDPro DTS. Tracks split with MTX cue sheet.
