While the first set SBD source suffers greatly from previous NR, the second set SBD is superb, resulting in an excellent matrix. Multiple requests from the audience for St. Stephen in the first set help to resurrect this gem (not played since Halloween 1971). Another resurrection is a stirring High Time, stashed since 7-12-70. Most notable IMHO is the 8+ minute intro to Eyes which clocks in at 17:17 total. Some consider this show second only to the 7-18 show for 1976 with the 6-29 up there as well, definately in the top 3. While the intro to St. Stephen is AUD only, it is still quite listenable, with the crowd reacting strongly, and the matrix kicks in once the vocals start. A Franklin's encore is also an added bonus. |
