| J-Card Comment | Info: A collection of Beatles studio outtakes from the Get Back sessions in Jan 1969, I got off the DAD site (a heyricky production). Please read this description carefully so there are NO misunderstandings. These recordings have been modified by fans from the original mono mix to a mock "stereo" mix by using a 35 millisecond delay, so if you are a purist, and this offends you, then these are probably not your cup of tea. With that being said, these are excellent sounding recordings, and even a casual Beatles fan can enjoy the boys having fun in the studio For one of the last times. Here's a couple notes on the "stereo" sound, and an explanation of a glitch on the 1st disc: The stereo is reprocessed from mono sources by fans (the right channel signal has been delayed by about 35 milliseconds to cause the stereo effect) someone noted: There is diginoise/skipping in Across The Universe @ 1:51. (first disc) REPLY: About the noise on Across The Universe 1:51 - this isn't digital noise, but is on the original tape, or at least the original Yellow Dog Day by Day series. Throughout the sessions, the mics are fiddled around with a lot, even while they're playing. |
