Tech Note | WOW! What a high energy show this was!! However, the soundman is a piece of shit. It sounded good, and the sound just fluctuated a lot. Slash's guitar was up sometimes and not, Duff's bass was powerful most of the time, sounded like it went out a few times but i bet it was the soundman because duff didnt react. Weiland's vocals went up and down as well, and Sorrum's kit was pretty solid the entire time. I personally could have used more snare and tom sound, but it was decent enough. At first before working on the show, i didnt like how it sounded, after throwing the EQ for bass and guitar adjustments, and the Compressor for the icing on the cake, it sounds remarkable. It may reveal some distortion, but the show was kinda loud and i tried to keep the recording level as low as possible while still recieving signal. |
