Tech Note | **Mastering** Most of the tracks have analog tape pauses at the ends...there was no real need to fix this, so they were left as-is. The overall sound isn't bad, and is typical of the late 80's material. Only a small notch filter centered at 187Hz was applied to lessen the boom of the recording. NO tracking/editing/alterations performed before archiving to 24-bit FLAC (except to trim silence from the ends). |
