Her finery and regalia, the only things to offer any competition to the Crowe's delicious spectacle of sound flying off the Troubadour's stage. Like the princess, the Crowes were more than fine. The breezy warmth blew down the boulevard but inside the tavern, the music was hotter and history was made. David Crosby came on-board for a few, the classic chestnuts flew too and passion flowered in their unique garden of sonic delights. Hats off to Marc Ford for the scorching guitars, and put feathers in the caps of his fellow Crowes and their other special guests for their fiery and oh-so-tasty contributions to this most special disc. And offer special salute to Chris - Captain of the Crowes - his searing vocal performance on this aural document most surely secures him his rightful place as America's most real soul singer since Otis Redding. Crowes 'n Cros...and so much more! *************************** DO NOT CONVERT THIS TO MP3 *************************** |
