Comment | Gathering of the Tribes. This was a short festival set . This particular performance was described in the October
1991 issue of Guitar Player magazine: "Several hundred cheering fans crowd the stage as King's x gamely blast through a short afternoon set at The Gathering Of The Tribes festival in Mountain View, California. Things are't going paticularly well : Though the band's hardcore followers seem oblivious to the 100-degree heat and distorted P.A. , most of the audience - dazed by sun and noise - is hiking up the amphitheater's grassy knoll to the concession stands. Beer is about to go on sale, and the crowd appears intent on getting lubed for Primus - homeboy heroes who are on next." |
