After being stranded in San Bernadino for 16 hours, Juan and Junior replaced the transmission in the band's newly acquired touring RV. With a new transmission, New Monsoon hit the road for a 26 hour trek to a waiting Houston audience. Arriving about 11:00pm, they came off Interstate 10 horns a-blaring as they pulled up to the LCC.
