He formed Polar Bear with members of the Steve Miller and Boz Scaggs bands. They did some demos for Warner Brothers who passed. Les was then invited to the first Journey rehearsal to audition. On the same day, he was offered a solo contract by Columbia Records and he chose Columbia. |
