Friend Of The Devil Notes: If you enjoy the Dead (as most of us here do) with a big twist of Celtic & Bluegrass flavor, then you're in for a real treat with this show. Recorded as a segment for David Gans' 'Dead To The World' radio show, this gorgeous in-studio set really shows what kind of chops this band has. Also contained is a nice interview telling us how the band members' love of celtic music, as well as the love of the Dead, brought them all together. This is my first attempt at seeding so I hope this goes smoothly. I felt this was a great way to start repaying for all the great music I've been pulling down the last few months. Unfortunately, Wake The Dead live recordings are difficult to come by, so maybe this seed will help pull a few more out of the woodwork. Enjoy! |
