Tech Note | deleted blank space during Tape Flips...you shouldn't be able to notice it. during the 1st couple seconds of Runaway Jim during the 1st couple of seconds of Horn verified with SHNtool. only d3 t5 doesn't cut on sector boundary. 1-13-05: Many of the tracks on this source were improperly cut, so I reassembled the show into one track, and decided to also deal with the excessive brightness and the almost nonexistant bass. No modifications were made other than to overall sound quality, dithering and retracking. All tracks are now cut on sector boundaries. Existing skips and closed dropouts/flips not modified (4:00 d1t1, 0:02 d1t8, 0:03 d2t7, 0:03 d2t8). FLAC > WAV > Wavelab 5 (Reassembled > Waves Q10 > Waves RBass > BBE > dithered with Waves L3 MultiMaximizer) > WAV > tracked with CDWave > FLAC Bill Mitchell whmitchell@gmail.com (thanks to Marmar for the mentoring!) A SHNfamily release. |
