New to me were,,, Case of the Blues, Don`t Let Me Down, I Want You, Because, and the Give Peace a Chance demoes. Quite a nice collection, but we could have done without the 9 minute greeting from Yoko. Review by: ceddy10165 On 23 Mar 2004 at 20:42 CET i enjoyed this volume far more than the previous volume in the series, and there are some isolated highlights and performances I've never heard elsewhere. it is nice to have all this material in one spot, but the CD isn't a highly enjoyable collection. other than the "home recording" concept, there is not alot of continuity to this release, from a listening experience perspective. granted, the quality is consistently good considering the provenance of the recordings, but for me, this CD goes in the "listen once and file away" category. |
