Comment | Tracks 1-3 (4:29/5:54/8:18; composed by Mitchell):
01/22/1977, Chicago, IL Roscoe Mitchell, Joseph Jarman, Wallace McMillan and Henry Threadgill (haha, no Braxton at all!) - all on altosax. Track 4 (7:25; Mitchell): 01/15/1977, Mapenzi, Berkeley, CA Roscoe Mitchell solo (altosax) I received this show (with this date & artist's name) today and I have to say: THIS "SHOW" IS A FAKE! It's nothing but a flawed, partial and slow running transfer from Roscoe Mitchell's "Nonaah"-LP (Nessa n-9/10). I played this show and the LP parallel and it's exactly the same (except for those mentioned flaws). If in doubt, consult Jojo Fischer (via list/email) |
