This recording has often been listed as a SBD/AUD matrix, but it's actually an excellent and close audience recording. It took me a while to find a lossless source that was complete. For a while I could only find a complete MP3 version and a lossless version with several cuts and glitches. With the help of a friend of the taper, I was able to get a copy that is both complete and lossless. However, there was digital noise in spots. I was able to fix this by patching in with the "cut" version, which was taken from the same DAT tape only without the errors. Thus, I was able to edit together a complete lossless version that is free of errors. I also fixed the EQ (the raw DAT is extremely muddy) and I smoothed out a cut in the encore break. --John W Busher |
