| Tech Note | The 10' mic stand did reduce the crowd noise significantly. However it increased wind noise since it was an open amphitheatre. I decided to leave it alone during the mastering process so I wouldn't alter the sound of the band. Fortunately, the bass filter cut out the majority of the low wind frequencies below 195 Hz, so it sounds better than it would otherwise. |
