Note | * = Taper gets busted. But this tenacious bastard doesn't give up. Only the last moments of "Prudence" and the begining of "Let's Spend" get cut.
The recorder used here was an early Sony stereo cassette recorder. I forget the model. Probably a precursor to the TC-152. Just for the record - The original tape head in this machine had very poor treble response. I replaced it with a tape head out of a Sony Car Stereo...! Hey - It worked, and sounded worlds better than the thing that was in there. There is some saturation in vocals. But it is still a fairly listenable tape. A clever person could clean this up significantly. I'm fairly certain the taper was in the shed. Not sure how close. Don't know about the quality of the existing sources on this one. But try this one out. |
