CommentWith friends. Broadcast on the WLIR Tuesday Night Concert Series.

This performance took place after midnight, in the early hours of November 4. Dickey Betts and Vasser Clements were to play at Radio City Music Hall the following evening: http://db.etree.org/lookup_show.php?shows_key=393744 This was, essentially, a rehearsal for that the Radio City show. The WLIR and Ultra Sonics staff made quick arrangements to record the session. After the performance Dickey wanted to hear them again, and again, and finally, at about 4:30 a.m., the staff essentially threw him out of the studio, which did not sit well.

Dickeybetts.com also lists this as the correct date for this session.
