J-Card CommentThis is the first and lesser known RAH show by the Experience in February 1969. Whereas the show from the 24th has been released on numerous dodgy discs (it still has yet to see the light of day as a proper 'official' release) this first show has escaped the attentions of the money-grubbers mainly due to it being an audience recording. It has been suggested and even documented that most, if not all, of The Experience's European concerts were filmed and recorded during this tour but the only soundboard so far to have proved its existence is the second RAH show. To support the theory, at least in part the film of the 24.2.69 show does feature short snippets of footage from a German venue (which one exactly escapes me at the moment) NB: This is an audience recording so please don't download if you are not prepared to put up with it's rough and ready nature. However audience recordings, even of this vintage, can convey a great deal more of the atmosphere of the actual show than some soundboard recordings.
