Tech NoteSoundboard, vocals run a little hot but still great sound and a very solid set, better diction than usual. A solo version of This Mess We're In is a definate treat, not an often played song. There seems to be a distortion electric organ or something in Somebody's Down Somebody's Name which is interesting. :) Originally compressed to 160kbps MP2 which BBC 6Music sends at. The digital radio broadcast was a little edited for time, so I spliced in some tracks from an incomplete recording from analog FM BBC Radio1 earlier. I tried to keep that original torrent as complete as possible as it has more tracks as well as being slightly better in sound quality despite compression. Naming structure is odd because I don't want to rename the original flac files. Original notes for bonus tracks: *Original recording suffered from very low sound levels. It was normalized to 98% to bring these to a much more regular level, but this also increased the volume of the hiss of the original recording. No noise reduction or editing of the wav files was performed other than normalization and fades. After track 9, five songs were broadcast. The radio source was inadvertently shut off at this point which caused this track and possibly the next to not be recorded. Only the opening notes of Big Exit were captured. These were edited out and a fade in to where the recording begins again added. [erutan] The ending audience noise is changed on Good Fortune because they spliced in the "thank you's" that before Hair but said right after A Place Called Home... which makes it a bit weird when listening to both at the same time! Tracks 00 and 03b are optional, if you feel they add to the ambience keep them, if you don't, don't burn them. There has been some cut/pasting and a slight FFT EQ filter to make the new tracks blend better but they were surprisingly close in sound so it isn't a huge deal.[/erutan]
