Comment | This is at a time where the Beach Boys are not popular and the Seattle Venue has only a couple thousand seats. This concert was part of very very few concerts which featured Brian Wilson in 1970 because Mike Love was in the hospital for being sick. These Brian concerts are noted in David Leaf's book "The Beach Boys and the California Myth" and also Brian Wilson's autobiography "Wouldn't it Be Nice" to name a few. After the show Brian ran away and no one including security could find him. A member of Paul Revere and the Raiders (whom he was friends with) told him that Brian was found on top of Queen Ann Hill. Brian was saying he was trying to run away from the fans (funny, saying there was no fans at this time). |
